Coronavirus Update

We are living in a strange day, and things are shifting and changing daily. Most of the news is disconcerting at best and unnerving at the worst. However, I want to encourage you to continue to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Keep looking unto Jesus, the author, and finisher of our faith. Rest in the truth that God is still sovereign and in control, and that His Word is still faithful and true. Ask Him to strengthen your faith in and love for Him, while looking for opportunities to demonstrate that faith and share His love with others.

We are living in unprecedented days. We certainly have never experienced anything like this before, and we don’t quite know what to expect next. However, I do want to communicate to you our plan for remaining connected as a church family and continuing to seek the Lord in these days ahead. At this time, in accordance with the mandate from our state and local government, we will not be holding in-person services. Instead, we will be live-streaming services for all of our members to watch from their own homes. We will maintain our normal service schedule during this time: Sunday morning at 11, Sunday evening at 6, and Wednesday evening at 7. You can watch the services online on the church Facebook page.

During this time, we want to continue to serve our senior members and anyone else with needs. We have been and will continue to be in regular contact with all of our senior adult members in regards to their needs. If you or someone else that you know in the church does have a need, please contact the church office at 618-931-0964.

When we get through this, and we will get through this, we want to get back to normal as quickly as possible. In the meantime, I wanted to be sure to communicate our plans so that each of us can be prepared for what’s ahead. We want the life of our church and the spiritual life of each member to go forward with as much stability as possible. We love you, and if we can do anything for you at all, please let us know. God bless!
